Strategy for Life - simple suggestion by alfred
Burn your bridges / boats Vs Exit Strategy – Simple strategy by Alfred.
How often have you heard the following adages to ensure success:
“Burn your bridges”
“Your best will come when your backs are to the wall”
Have a “Do or Die Attitude”
Then again, I was inspired by a movie I saw, wherein the Ronin (hired assassin) says he never enters a new place without first checking the back door (read escape route)
The key lies in knowing how to interpret and use the above sayings and advise, in your day-to-day living
In game theory they speak of the "Minimax" approach. Be prepared for negotiating the minimum loss of the maximum that can go wrong.
Simply put, if you are prepared to accept the worst outcome of any situation then anything less than that would not be a surprise and instead be a bonus
So, while having an attitude to "Do or Die" and "Burning of Bridge"s is a good “War Cry” it is smart to work out an exit strategy.
Infinite Vs Finite
Work your Finite thinking to rise above and upwards towards Infinite Thinking based on the intangibles and Values you have adopted.
