Slow Down,

Slow Down,
Slow down to, Smell the trees, listen to the wind, and those around you

Speed breakers ahead

I had to undergo a minor surgery the other day for my diabetic foot ulcer which flared up due to my active running about. Got me to slow down now for at least another 7 to 10 days.

We all know and have experienced our bodies forcing us to slow down. Science has also mastered the art of inducing COMA if need be, to allow you to recoup.

All forms of meditation help you reach that bliss stage of shutting your conscious mind to slow down all your processes

I turned 70 last month. Want to stay healthy for another 10 years at least, by which time Medical science will allow me an affordable and safe way to increase my longevity for at least another 10 years

The challenge is how to keep the mind healthy for 10 years. To keep the body healthy, most of it is known to us – Diet, Sleep and exercise.

You have also heard me always say, “the day I stop learning is the day I want to die”
learning – Tangible and the intangible.

Intangible is mainly in the realm of experiences and wisdom often learnt by interacting and sometime by just being

Tangible – a whole new spectrum of learning is possible quite cheaply and easily – Adopt AI

With AI you are able to get an All-round Executive Assistant (EA) 24 X 7 without the hassles that go with a living EA.

I have decided to learn out to develop my own Agents for AI. Like all exciting journeys, I am going to use AI applications out there to help me first explore the different kinds of Agents I can have at any point of time; How to go about choosing one; Then build/create one

How will this help me slow down?
Firstly, by freeing up my time, I can then slow down to enjoy all the other daily routines that we rush through every day:

Jump out of bed after the snooze button of the alarm has run its time (set by you)

Skip or rush through the breakfast – end up with indigestion and acidity

Shower in a hurry and not enjoy the warm water massage or listen to the favorite song that either you used to listen to or sing along in the bathroom

Dress in a hurry,
rush down the apartment,
speed to the office or the meeting

The list goes on, right unto bedtime, when you are too tired and exhausted to have that pillow talk with your loved ones or in my case play fantasy story telling with Innaya my granddaughter

In one of my earlier post, I had said LIFE does not have a PAUSE button. Just realized LIFE certainly gives you the “Slow Down” button:

Simply read, “CONTROL” Button
