Wrote to my school friend Jaspal and reminded him of the time on our walks to and fro school during the rains. Splashing and jumping into the puddles and walking under the awnings of the shops for the rain drops to drip over our heads

Are we stopping ourselves and worst stopping our children and grandchildren from enjoying these simple pleasures that only can be best enjoyed as children

Worst, are we stopping ourselves from expressing joy and ecstasy

When did you last stop yourself from:
swaying to some song/tune
Applaud a good performance
Laugh out loud to a gag.
Have literally rolled on the ground with laughter,
Slapped a friend on the back
sang in chorus
danced in a Barat

its never too late, even to be a bathroom singer or next time you are driving alone, sing aloud in the car to your favorite tune/song

Serotonin the pleasure hormone can be harnessed at will - Just dance or sing. Don't be surprised if tears of joy trickle down your eyes. Relish and relve in it.

The other day, in a business meeting, accidentally had a very invigorating 2 hour conversation with evolved souls in the ISKCON temple. So many of my doubts and thoughts got the benefit of clarity and a different perspective. Just went with my feelings. It's that simple. Be a feelings person. It's not a sign of weakness or vulnerability
